Land Sky Sea began on a beach on the south shore of Long Island, photographing swimwear, sandals and sunglasses whose makers could tell us exactly where and by whom they were made. That is still the test. We feature a small number of things that are beautifully designed, honestly produced and built to be kept, and we tell you what we know and what we don't.
